International Bike Ride Starts in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. April 15. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The Bike Ride – Vladivostok (Russia) – Porto (Portugal) started on Wednesday from the Sportivnaya Quay, Vladivostok.
Two young Americans, Ellery Althaus and Levi Bridges mounted bikes and went conquer large lengths of Russia.
The guys called their project ‘The Idiots’, because no sane man will do this. But as they say they also meant the cognominal book by Dostoevsky.
The two Americans already went on a journey. They hiked from France to Spain. But they always wanted something more grandiose.
Tom Armbrooster, U.S. consul-general in Far East of Russia decided to assist these boys in their journey. He decided to accompany them on bike as far as he could. According to estimates of the participants the journey will take 10 months to a year.
