China-Russia Friendship Bridge

VLADIVOSTOK.15 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. IN Primorian city Ussuriisk was opened an exhibition “Friendship Bridge”.
In spite of the fact that Ussuriisk and Mudantzyan are twin cities, artists’ work are very different. Chinese artists prefer go-hua style – ink on rice paper. Dzou Tsunchen is the first time in Russia. In China he is a popular artist. Works brightly depict his author’s style.
“I paint snow all the time as I want to show nature’s features. I was invited to come to Ussuriisk. Next year artists from Ussuriisk will come to China with their exhibition” he said.
Artists from Ussuriisk paint different pictures, bright and cheerful. As artists say their works are favoured in China. Oil and canvas are the main materials.
Artists of both cities have been cooperating since 1999. This exhibition is the 7th. It has become annual and is held on the eve of the city day. Project is called ‘Friendship Bridge”.
Artists not only come with visits but also their main goal is to share experience. Both sides say such relations are vital in creativity.
Today, on September, 5, artist will represent master-class for school children. Last day of exhibition is on the 17.
