VLADIVOSTOK. December, 15. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Jean-Marie Gustav LeClesio, Holder of the Nobel Prize for literature believes that the Internet could stop Hitler and prevent World War II. Historians are of the opinion, that Hitler suffered a great deal mental inferiority and physical deficiency complex. In his youth he dreamed of becoming an artist, and the only thing that he was interested in was architecture.
68 year old French writer during his Nobel speech said:” If the Internet existed then, his criminal plot would have failed and he would have been laughed away in the bud.”
Prose writer, however, pointed out, that for many people of developing countries computer still is a luxury. According to the writer, the main goals of humanity remains liquidation of famine and illiteracy, two close interrelated problems. The writer called publishers to make books more available to the general public in the countries of Third World and to publish more literature in less-common languages.
