MAGADAN. January 16. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The officials in Magadan administration of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service are drawing up an ‘external passport’ for a dog.
When the masters of ‘Japanese spitz’ wanted to go on mission to Solomon Islands they were greatly surprised by the fact that special approvals be drawn up. It was the demand of the receiving party.
It is up to the officers to issue a passport to the dog. It is the unprecedented case for the Magadan Region.
“It is the first time that somebody applies to us to draw up a certificate for exportation of the pet, though we are ready to assist in this matter actively.”- said Alexander Novgorodtsev, the chief of the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service in Magadan Region.
