VLADIVOSTOK. March 16. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Residents of Ussuriisk, Primorsky Krai, rejoiced at the decision of the court not to close the Chinese outdoor clothing market. Had this occurred, 1,500 people would have to find a new job and a place to live.
Ussuriisk-based Komunar daily wrote, the marketplace, which is very popular with residents of Russia’s Far East, had been temporarily shut down by the decision of the local fire emergency service. The decision raised serious concerns in the city. However, the management of the market managed to appeal against the ruling of the fire emergency service.
