KHABAROVSK. April 16. VOSTOK MEDIA – The international scientific conference on experience of universities in transition to the two-tier system of education will be held in the Far Eastern Academy of State Service, Khabarovsk.
Scientists, teachers and organs of power shall discuss questions relating to reconstruction of the Russian higher education system.
To provide high-quality training of bachelors and masters, Russia must improve the system of university administration, more actively implement innovations, preserving the best traditions of the national education. In accordance with the Bologna Declaration, reforming of the national education system must be completed by 2010. Meanwhile, views of the Bologna Process are quite different in the academic community of Russia. There are well-grounded apprehensions that the reforming will negatively affect the education process.
The plenary session will gather deputy Minister of Education of the Khabarovsk Krai Anatoly Levchenko, professor of the Far Eastern Academy of State Service Lyudmila Krivonosova, president of the Heihe University (China) Sun Xian Min and others.
