Primorsky Krai Sportsman Sets New World Record

VLADIVOSTOK. October 16. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Primorsky Krai resident Alexander Grebenshchikov has set a new world record and became all-around champion in Powerlifting and Bench Press World Championship in Rostov on Don, Russia.

More than 900 weight-lifters from around the world took part in the international sports event. Primorsky Krai was presented by two sportsmen from the city of Artem – Alexander Dudnikov (silver medalist bench presser) and President of the Shkotovsky branch of the Federation of Russian Martial Arts Alexander Grebenshchikov.

Alexander is a highly skilled sportsman. His track record includes numerous victories in kickboxing and body-building. Since recently bench press became his primary occupation. The sportsman won in 33-35 age category, weight category under 67 kg. In addition, he broke the world record in bench-press lifting 150 kg. Alexander Grebenshchikov was awarded a title Master of Sports, reported press-service office of Artem Administration.
