Four Killed, Three Missing in Ship Collision in the Sea of Japan

VLADIVOSTOK. November 16. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Four people were killed and three went missing in the collision between a ferry boat and fishing vessel in the Sea of Japan.

As a result of the collision, which occurred in strong gale conditions, the fishing vessel flipped over and half-submerged. Dae Kyong fishing vessel was manned by seven South Koreans and two Indonesians. Sailors aboard Hong Kong freighter managed to rescue two South Koreans. South Korean rescuers found four bodies in the half-sunk vessel. Three fishermen are still missing.
