The large-scale export of electricity to China may begin in the next year

KHBAROVSK. December, 15. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Next year the Russian government can align a large-scale export of electricity in China. It is planned to create the Big Fareast Energetic Circle that would lay in Russian and Chinese terrain. Russian power engineer are working now in this project with the Chinese State electrical network corporation. Energetical holding company JSC “RAO Vostok Energetical System” is supposed to participate in the project. Ivan Blagodir, the general director of the holding company said the revenue gained from the surpluses of electric energy would be spent on realization of Fareast Investment project of powermen. Overall volume of the investment project on 2009 – 2013 will amount 190 billion dollars. The main sources of financing are private, attracted and state funds. It is planned to gain a part of financial sources by selling thermal and electric energy. According to experts wide-scale sale of electricity to Chinese consumers will yield 3 to5 billion rubbles annually.
Actually, this money cannot solve all the energetic problems of the region, but it may cover all the debts of Fareastern consumers, which account for 3,8 billion rubbles.
