Vladivostok to Host Chinese Art Exhibition

VLADIVOSTOK. December 16. VOSTOK-MEDIA – On December 18, Vladivostok will host exhibition of Chinese art featuring more than 100 pieces of art of the famous Chinese painters.

The exhibition was organized by Primorsky Krai Culture Department, Primorsky Krai Picture Gallery with the assistance of Vladivostok Representative Office of Consulate General of China in Khabarovsk and held as part of the international art project called “Glance from the East”.

On December 19-20, Chinese artists will give master classes on ink and wash painting, an East Asian type of brush painting developed in China in some distant century.

In addition, the exhibition will feature delicately shaped vases, panels, animal figurines as well as various pieces of decorative and applied arts.

The event will open in Primorsky Krai Picture Gallery (12, Partizansky Blvd) on December 18 at 3pm and will last till January 30.
