The Representative of the U.S. Department of Justice Arrived to Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. February 17. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Terry Keeney, representative of the U.S. Department of Justice under the jurisdiction of U.S. Embassy in Moscow Arrived to Vladivostok. The first action Terry Keeney will take part in is the opening of the Center for rendering of assistance and rehabilitation of human trafficking victims that will be held today on February 17, 15:30.
The Center for rendering of assistance and rehabilitation of human trafficking victims is the first project of this kind in the Far East of Russia. The project execution became possible thanks to close cooperation between state and non-profit organizations of USA and Russia. The project is implemented by autonomous non-profit organization ‘Far Eastern Center for development of civic initiatives’ with financial and organizational support of Bureau of U.S. state Department regarding international anti-drug war and law protection activity, administration of Primorskiy Krai and Bureau for International Organization for Migration in Moscow.
Terry Keeney that took direct part in the creation of the Center is world-wide known expert in the sphere of countermeasures against international human trafficking.
As the representative of Department of Justice under the jurisdiction of U.S, Embassy in Moscow Mr. Keeney visited Far East several times where he gave a speech in international conferences and met with law enforcement officers and deputies.
This time along with participation in the opening of the Center for rendering of assistance for human trafficking victims, Terry Keeney will be one of the main reporters in the conference ‘Countermeasures Against Child Exploitation and Child Pornography’. The conference will be held in the hotel ‘Hundai’ on February 19-20.
