S Korean Delegation’s Visit to Komsomolsk Completed

KOMSOMOLSK. February 17. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The formal two-day visit of South Korean Consulate delegation in Vladivostok to Komsomolsk-on-Amur was completed on Feb. 16. The delegation was headed by the Consul-General Kim Moo Young, press-service of Vladivostok Administration reports.

The consular officers visited Amurmetal steel plant, Amursky ship-building yard, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association. In addition, they had a meeting with Komsomolsk mayor Vladimir Mikhalyov, at which both Korean and Russian officials expressed their willingness to promote mutually advantageous co-operation, as well as to encourage partnership between companies and firms of the two countries, and to expand cultural ties. The South Korean consulate now plans to organize a series of cultural events in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, officials said.
