VLADIVOSTOK. May 17. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Freight One, Russia’s largest rail transport operator, has commenced deliveries of metal structures for the construction of the longest cable bridge in the world. The bridge is slated to be opened in March 2012, six months before the APEC Russia 2012 summit begins. The total length of the bridge will be 3.1 km. The 1,104-meter-long central span will set a world record.
