Vladimir Putin: Russia Will Meet the World Crisis

MOSCOW. 17 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Russian economy will easily meet the world crisis. Russian Prime Minister is sure of this as he said yesterday at the meeting with Azerbaijani President. Vladimir Putin said: “We have no doubts that Russia will calmly overcome all the troubles, i.e. world crisis, in the world economy”;”no doubts, “airbags” in Russian economy will work”.
Prime Minister said that Ministry of Finance have provided with additional 150 billion roubles to support liquidity of financial market and 325 billion roubles have been provided by Central Bank. Tomorrow, Ministry of Finance is planning to double this sum support with extra 350 billion roubles. Besides, Premier said, Central Bank and Finance Ministry are discussing other levers to influence the market.
