The father of a suspected member of a guerrilla group, dubbed ‘Primorye partisans’, went on record saying he believes law enforcers are secretly plotting to kill his son and other suspected members of the group.

VLADIVOSTOK. October 18. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The father of Roman Savchenko, a member of a guerrilla group, dubbed ‘Primorye partisans’, accused of killing two police officers and injuring several others in February and June, has made a statement that law enforcers are secretly plotting to kill his son and other suspected members of the gang.

In an interview to the Arsenyevskie Vesti daily, Vladimir Savchenko said: “...it seems like police is plotting to kill my son and other members of the group. The Head of Kirovsky Criminal Police Office Skiba told Maksim Kirilov’s mother, Marina Kirillova, that her son will soon be brought to a local police precinct for investigation.”

“In a recent video that has made the rounds on the Internet, the boys say they are going ‘to fight against the crooked police officers to the utmost’. The police files on the boys are labeled ‘Disposed to attack and escape’. When the police were searching my apartment they said the boys won’t live to see the trial,” Vladimir said.

“I can’t make out why they have to bring the boys to Kirovsky. Having considered the recent developments, it occurred to me that the police are likely to incite the boys to commit these actions and shoot them when they attempt to escape. I make this statement to make sure that in case my suspicions are confirmed, the police won’t be able to succeed in their plot. ‘Primorye partisans’ have confessed to killing two police officers. That was a tactical decision targeted against the outrageous behavior of the police. The boys are charged with a number of offenses, including rape, but they did not commit these crimes. No harm was done to civilians by the ‘Primorye partisans’.”
