They will be replaced with new biometrical passports

BLAGOVESCHENSK. February 19. VOSTOK-MEDIA - The Common External Passports are no longer issued in Blagoveschensk. They will be replaced with new biometrical passports. Now they are issued in the regions of the Amur River where there are special photography booths.
Biometric data is derived along with the photo of a person. The character of a person (asymmetry of his face) is defined through 48 points at his face. The passport contains thorough data on a person and that’s why it is impossible to confuse a person or substitute photo.
Special features of every face – even the Governor’s one - are sent to Moscow. This data is sent together with personal details form. In the capitol of the country all personal data is inserted in microchip which is situated to the right of the main page of the passport. “4,500 biometrical passports and 42,000 passports of previous generation were issued in 2008. Since the beginning of the year 2009 1,000 of new passports and 500 of the old ones were made. It is obvious that preferences of citizens are changing.” – says Sergey Bogachev, Deputy Head of Department for the Federal Migration Service of Russia.
The passports have changed but the long waiting for them have not.
