Directorate-General for State Environmental Review Approve Project of Second Bridge to Russky Island

VLADIVOSTOK. May 19. VOSTOK MEDIA – The Directorate-General for State Environmental Review approved the project of the bridge across Eastern Bopsporus to Russky Island. The department of Road Facilities of Regional administration of Primorsky Krai reported that the process of tender for building is beginning.
The 3 kilometer length bridge will connect the Nazimov peninsula and the Novosilsky cape. The bridge building is within the limits of the Development of Vladivostok as a center of international cooperation in Asia Pacific Region program.
The bridge across Eastern Bopsporus will provide transport connection between Russky Island and Vladivostok. This will strengthen a position of Vladivostok as a large trade, financial, industrial and educational center. The future bridge will be unique, there is no such a bridge in our country. Specialists note that the bridge will be a real adornment of Vladivostok and a peculiarity of Primorsky Krai.
