Typhoon has hit Japan with a wave height of 12 meters

Vladivostok. July 18. VOSTOK-MEDIA - On Tuesday, the height of waves on the Pacific coast of Japan will reach 10-12 meters. Such may be the result of a strong typhoon approaching the country, named "Mahon".

The sixth typhoon of the season approaching the archipelago with a speed of 30 miles per hour. Particularly heavy rain is expected today on the island of Shikoku, in the eastern part of Kyushu and southern Honshu. Authorities alerted the public about the dangers of waves and floods, while 900 residents of the village Miyakonodze (Miyazaki Prefecture) were ordered to prepare for possible evacuation from the threat of landslide.
