Participants at the conference of mass media representatives of Northeast Asia decided to cooperate jointly
VLADIVOSTOK. 19 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Participants of the conference decided to cooperate in the framework of newly arranged Mass Media Association of the Northeast Asia. Conference was held for the 4th time at the background of 13th International Exchange and Cooperation Summit of regional administrations of countries in the Northeast Asia. There were presented: “Sin Nihonkai”, prefecture Tottori, Japan; “Kangvon Ilbo”, province Kangvon, Republic of Korea; “Tsilin Zhibao”, province Tsilin, China; Director of Information and technologies Centre of Central Aimak, Mongolia and representatives of Primorian Mass Media.
Participants agreed on active cooperation, information exchange and support on web-sites. In order to facilitate cooperation mass media took a decision to bolster information message exchange, video and photo materials sharing and commenting on events. As perspective there are frequent meetings, journalists and news photographers, joint actions and almanac publishing. This almanac is expected to be interesting for all dwellers of the Northeast Asia.
Chon Beng Su, chief editor assistant of “Kangvon Ilbo” says that close cooperation will facilitate economic growth on the local level and influence on living standards. "For interstate relations can develop we have to start with the local level and it is definitely possible", - he said.
His counterpart Itiro Tominaga from news department “Sin Nihonkai” second: New cooperation in education, business, tourism and etc. will foster transportation between the countries.
One of areas of crucial importance is environmental and it is where interests of all countries overlap. Cooperation in this field is expected to become among the leading.
