Japan Bank for International Cooperation Interested in Woodworking Industry of Russia
Terneiles JSC is expected to become the first partner of the JBIC.
The meeting of a delegation of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation headed by Mr. Satoshi Sasaki and Victor Gorchakov, chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly, was held in Vladivostok today.
Mr. Satoshi Sasaki told Victor Gorchakov that Japanese companies are deeply interested in investments into the Russian economy. The visit of the Japanese delegates is connected with research of conditions for financing of the woodworking industry projects, Vostok Media reports.
The main purpose of the bank founded by the government is providing support for the overseas Japanese business. The greater attention is paid to the projects relating to the import of raw materials, development of mining and processing plants on the territory of Russia. Allocating credits for the woodworking industry is a new direction of the bank’s activity.
Terneiles JSC is interested in improving its woodworking technologies and thus is expected to become the first partner of the JBIC.
