VLADIVOSTOK. March 20. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The data provided by the Federal State Statistic Service the number of government employees and officers of RF government bodies accounted for 846,307 people on 1st October 2008, that is 1.74 times as much as in 1999.
Meanwhile, the number of public officers of the regional government bodies increased in 2.25 times, officers of the federal agencies in 1.6 times.
The number of municipal officers accounted for 367,620. Since 1999 its number grew in 2.07 times.
The average age of the Russian bureaucrats is 39-40.
