VLADIVOSTOK. May 20. VOSTOK MEDIA –A whip-round for people suffered from earthquake in Chinese province Sinchuan is began at instigation of students, teachers and collaborators of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES).
When the earthquake damage was published, a whip-round was began in VSUES.
The university press service reports that in room 1323 situated a sealed box. Somebody donates 1000 rubbles, somebody 10 rubbles. The desire to help is the main factor in such a case.
A Chinese student Xu Wanchu says that this is the first time when the authorities of China decided to accept aid from other countries. Russia sent seven airplanes to China. And VSUES organized a whip-round.
A deputy director of Institute of International Education of VSUES Maxim Kirenko reports that the money gathered by VSUES and other Vladivostok Institutes will be hand over to the department of the Consulate General of PRC in Harbin in May 26.
