Oil Prices Drop in Russia

MOSCOW. 20 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev demanded to investigate why oil prices kept high.
According to President, it is necessary to investigate if there is a collusion of oil companies and “take appropriate anti monopoly measures including initiating of court proceedings”. Mr. Medvedev called current situation “disgusting”. President declared that as soon as oil prices dropped on the world markets within two weeks companies should decrease the oil prices on internal market.
Federal Antimonopoly Service has already sent warnings of possible court proceedings in case of high prices remained to“Lukoil”, “Gaspromneft”, “Rosneft”, “Surgutneftegas”, “Tatneft” and OC “Alliance”.
