VLADIVOSTOK. 20 November. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Three shipmen from Primorye are participating in the competition “Asia-Pacific Match in Hayama 2008”. The regatta ISAF Grade 3 will take place in Khayama, Japan, on November, 21-24.
Participating Primorians are Vladimir Ermakov, Alexey Kulakov and Roman Ivakhno that have been chosen on the results of the International match-race “Cup of the 7 Feet-2008”.
In total, there are 12 participants – 7 Japanese and 5 foreigners. The regatta includes racing on yachts graded “Yamaha 30S” with only 4 shipmen on the board. Primorian shipmen will work together with the Japanese master.
Besides, other sportsmen from Primorye have gone to Japan. These are the students of the club “7 Feet”: Voloshenko Alexey, Nosov Konstantin, Kulakova Tatiana. They will take participation in the Pan Japan competition graded “Laser Radial” and “Laser 4,7”. It will take place in the prefecture Aichi, the city of Gamagori, Japan, on November, 22-24. The number of applied is 170 sportsmen, 38 of which are ladies.
Japanese sportswomen have prepared thoroughly as this competition will show the best team to participate in the World Championship 2009 in Karatsi, Japan. Tatiana Kulakova will race in this grade.
