Infected Fish from Argentina Found in Vladivostok by Rosselkhoznadzor

The infected fish was stored together with 20 tonnes of safe salmon.

The Rosselkhoznadzor branch in Primorsky Krai has detected over 40 000 tonnes of fish products without the required veterinary documents. The goods are partly infected with colon bacterium. The entire parcel is arrested. An administrative case was initiated against the entrepreneur who imported the infected products.
Vitaliy Salenko, assistant of the PR director, told Vostok Media Rosselkhoznadzor had made an unscheduled inspection of the cold storages located in one of the Vladivostok districts.
The inspection showed that more than 40 000 tonnes of fish products had no veterinary certificates, 1.5 tonnes were without producer’s marking, over 2 tonnes of fish are still stored after expiry date.
The inspection also found a parcel of fish from Argentina that was infected with intestinal bacteria. The infected fish was stored together with 20 tonnes of salmon which quality and safety were proved by the veterinary documents, and expiry date hadn’t yet finished.
