The satellite is supposed to provide communication services for citizens, Italian Ministry of Defense and NATO troops

VLADIVOSTOK. April 21. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The dual-purpose spacecraft SICRAL 1B was delivered to orbit by the Russian launcher DM-SL within the framework of ‘Maritime Start’.
The satellite control was given to the Ministry of Defense. The vehicle was designed by Thales Alenia Space for 12-year term exploitation.
The satellite is supposed to provide communication services for citizens, Italian Ministry of Defense and NATO troops. It was launched from the floating platform ‘Odyssey’.
