Khabarovsk to be Ground for Discussing Regional Development of Russia Till 2020

KHABAROVSK. May 21. VOSTOK MEDIA – The press service of the Administration of Khabarovsk Krai reported to RIA Vostok Media that the Third Far Eastern International Economic Forum which will be held in September in Khabarovsk will be a ground for discussing regional development of Russia till 2020.
The governor Victor Ishaev said that the Forum would be held under the auspices of the State Duma and United Russia party. Preliminary agreement about this was completed during the recent meeting of the governor of Khabarovsk Krai with Boris Grizlov, the speaker of the lower chamber of the Russian Parliament which took place in Moscow.
The governor said that the motto and the subjects of the coming Forum were formulated. The approaches to regional policy by the example of Far East and Transbaikalia development. The deputy corps of the State Duma, the Academy of Science and the Administration of Khabarovsk Krai are preparing for this event. The governor also said that the Administration hoped that the federal machinery of government and large businessmen would participate in the Forum.
