Vladivostok. June 21. VOSTOK-MEDIA - archaeologists have found the ruins of the ancient city of the Maya civilization, hidden in the jungles of Mexico in the east, according to Reuters. A team of scientists led by Ivan Shpraytsem of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts has found 15 pyramids, one of which is 23 meters high, as well as the site for the ritual ball game, town squares and high stone stele. The city was names Chaktun, which means "red rock" or "big rock."
