Mazurka and Quadrille

NAKHODKA. 21 October. VOSTOK-MEDIA.The V Ball “Great Waltz”will take place in Morskoy Ocean Station in Nakhodka. It is the 5th time Nakhodka becomes a place for hosting the festival. This arrangement will draw attention to the world classical music, communication culure and pride of a Russian man”, says the coordinator of the project Svetlana Kudzi.
She says that the program includes all attributes of the old Russian balls such as: concert, dessert, dances, games an etc. In the night a fireworks will colour the sky.
The musical part is divided into three sections: Russian, Austrian and for choice. It is symbolic that the festival will take place on the birth anniversary date of Johann Straus. His musical masterpieces will be arranged by the Pacific Symphonic Orchestra from Vladivostok.
150 citizens from Nakhodka have confirmed their desire to participate. They are making their garments, learn public manners and dancing steps. The festival will also include mazurka, quadrille, polonaise and different types of polka.
