DBS Cruise Connects Vladivostok with Korea and Japan

VLADIVOSTOK. June 22. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Next week, on June 29, cargo-and-passenger ship DBS Cruise which is expected to cruise on the long-distance line Vladivostok (Russia) – Tonghae (Korea) – Sakai-Minato (Japan) will formally come into commission. This ship will call at a port of Vladivostok on July 6 for the first time and depart on July 7.

The 14000 ton cruise ship is capable of accommodating 458 passengers and has 135 ETU cargo carrying capacity.

Coming into commission of the ship will result in increasing of traffic and flaw of commodities as well as extension of relations between the three countries in various spheres. This should beneficially reflect on economic and cultural relations as well as in development of tourism.

The new line, on which DBS will operate, will become an integral part at opening of new cargo transportation lines in Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, northeast regions of China, central Russia and Europe.
