Residents of Khabarovsk will fight against the distortion of history

Today, June 22, Russia celebrates one of the memorable dates of the history of the country. On this day, 74 years ago, the Great Patriotic War began. In honor of the Day of Memory and Grief the deputiesof the Legislative Duma of the Khabarovsk Territory appealed to the people of the region asking them not to forget the bloody events and fight any attempt to revive fascism.

"Overnight, the hopes of millions of families destroyed, the fate of generations broke. Thousands of residents of the Khabarovsk Territory in the first few days of the war went to the front, many of them never returned. Today, every Russian family gives the duty of memory and gratitude to everyone who took the brunt of the enemy, who did not live to see the light of the Victory Day, but believed in it and courageously fought against fascism. We hold the memory of the heroes of our country, we reserved the yellowed by time and tears letters, photographs of loved ones for descendants, admire their fortitude, perseverance and heroism, selfless willingness to serve the country and the people! ", - said in the address of the parliamentarians.

June 22 becomes the day of pride for those who defended freedom of the Motherland, who gave their lives for the triumph of peace and prosperity, for a brighter future for children. Deputies express immense gratitude and low bow to all veterans as those who fought on the battlefields, and selfless work in the rear.

"The holy duty of each of us is passing to future generations a sense of pride for the courage and patriotism displayed by compatriots during the war, we should fight against any attempts to distort history or belittle the great mission of the Soviet soldier!
