Sino-Russian Technology Park to be Created in Vladivostok

A memorandum of understanding was signed following VSUES delegation visit to Suifenhe.

VLADIVOSTOK. March 23. VOSTOK-MEDIA – A recent visit of the delegation of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) to Suifenhe resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Vladivostok Administration, Suifenhe Mayor’s Office, Lan Zhuo Corporation and VSUES.


A VSUES spokesman said the sides have agreed to expand their relations of partnership through encouragement and support of scientific, educational, cultural, sports and information exchanges. The mutually advantageous cooperation covers the following areas:


- development and promotion of data portals, websites and on-line trading venues contributing to the development of commercial and economic relations and creating information basis for boosting trade and economic relations between the two countries via trading websites of Vladivostok and Suifenhe with the assistance of VSUES and Lan Zhuo Corporation;


- acceleration and promotion of the project that aims at creation and development of technology park in Vladivostok on the information and technology base of Lan Zhuo Corporation with the use of scientific, methodological and personnel resources of VSUES;


- exchange of specialists, research workers, teachers and students with a view to holding joint scientific conferences and workshops and implementation of scientific and educational cooperation projects;


- organization of joint events and exchange of delegations to discuss issues of development of cooperation in the spheres of economy, management, education, science, culture and sport.


The memorandum of understanding includes, along with other things, a number of provisions relating to long-range programs aimed at strengthening of the international cooperation. On the Russian Side, the document was signed by Mayor of Vladivostok Igor Pushkaryov and VSUES president Gennady Lazarev. On the Chinese Side, Mayor of Suifenhe Fu Yancheng affixed his signature to the document.
