Construction of Bridge across Eastern Bosphorus Strait Nears Completion

VLADIVOSTOK. August 23. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The construction of the bridge across the Eastern Bosphorus strait nears completion as the pylon M8 has been erected on Russky Island.

“Some 1,850 cubic meters of high-quality concrete was poured in the M8 pylon. The height of the structure is about 65 meters above the sea level,” said Alekxey Baranov, director USK Most-Vladivostok, a major construction company that has been contracted to build the bridge. “The construction of 31 bridge supports have been completed,” he said.

Meanwhile, the erection of two A-shaped 320-meter-high pylons continues, a spokesman for USK Most said.
