The Experimental Container Train Departed from Vladivostok to Moscow Region

VLADIVOSTOK. February 24. VOSTOK-MEDIA - The Experimental Container Train departed from Vladivostok to Moscow region station Bekasovo. The 9244 km long route will cover for 7 days whereas regular transit time along the route takes 12 days.
The unique feature of the train is the safe cars passage along the distance of 2,800 km.
The railway vehicle was prepared for departure at the check station Nakhodka Vostochnaya that is equipped by various diagnostic techniques.
The experimental train includes the laboratory car. The data that will be collected by the laboratory car will allow solve the issue as to commissioning of the itinerary in permanent time-schedule.
The optimization of the traffic pattern of container train will not only increase the attractiveness of the Trans Siberian line and attract new clients from Asian-Pacific Region countries but also reduce maintenance coast to JSC ‘Russian Railways’.
