RF Security Council Approves National Security Strategy till 2020

VLADIVOSTOK. March 24. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Security Council of the Russian Federation under the chairmanship of the President Medvedev will meet for discussing and approving the national security strategy till 2020 in Kremlin on Tuesday.
A new strategy was designed taking into account the global financial and economical crisis. In the framework of designing of the strategy, the issue was discussed at all federal districts, with the general committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences; at the closed sessions with key Russian scientists and experts.
According to the Security Council, the strategy will represent “a strategic document that will unite activities of bodies of state authorities; state , corporative and public organizations dealing with protection of national interests of the Russian Federation and providing safety of people, society and the state.”
