Kamchatka Delegation Takes Part in Harbin Trade Fair

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKIY. June 24. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Kamchatka delegation consisting of state officials of Kamchatka region took part in 20th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair held on June 15-19.
Representatives of 16 RF regions, foreign states delegations as well as representatives of leading enterprises and transnational companies took part in the trade fair.
Kamchatka delegation has been given a special priority: five government-level meetings for five business days. Chinese authorities showed deep interest in investment projects presented by Kamchatka, namely in such spheres as agro-industrial complex, tourism and development of mineral resources.
“This points to the fact that China sets a high value on co-operation with Kamchatka region.” – said First Deputy Chairman of legislative assembly for Kamchatka region Valery Raenko, - “The projects presented at the trade fair have been met with a generous response among PRC businessmen.”
Chinese representatives plan to return visit to Kamchatka in the nearest future. They will examine the situation at the peninsula and then the two parties are likely to negotiate mutually-profitable investment projects.
