30th Anniversary of Puppet Theatre in Nakhodka

NAKHODKA. 24 October. VOSTOK-MEDIA. In October Municipal Puppet Theatre celebrates 30th anniversary of establishment of the puppet group and 20th anniversary of gaining a professional status.
History of this theatre is that in 1978 Gennadiy Annisimov, director of the theatre, created an idea to start a puppet show. His group firstly created short shows. Then an independent theatre was created which in 10 years gained a professional status. In a year administration got the theatre under municipal protection and care.
There is no institution training theatre masters in puppet shows. Every master works out a character and a puppet. After some time there have been created more than 300 characters. Repertoire includes 14 shows, 11 staff members and 120 thousand small visitors every year. For 30 years there are more than 50 plays staged.
Gennadiy Annisimov says that the most popular classic is plays “Gusi-Lebedi”, “Tri Porosenka” and “Kot v sapogah”.
The theatrical group will present their achievements at the celebration. Congratulations will be said by representatives of culture department in administration and cultural workers of Nakhodka.
