People can not get even vegetable oil and sugar

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKIY. 24 November. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Sobolevo, a town in Kamchatka, has experienced food crisis since September.
The town is cut off from the rest territory. The only way is by all-wheel trucks. Though the road is not accessible due to fall slush and winter cover is not prepared yet. Small supply packages are delivered by helicopters but price on delivered food is very high, for instance, a pack of sugar costs 100 rubles. Moreover, food supply is not sufficient as customers purchase everything out. In time of food crisis it is hard to purchase even simple food: vegetable oil and sugar.
Administration of the town says that the situation is under control and that once summer comes the delivery will be carried out by helicopters according to the schedule. For now, several trucks are carving a road to the town Sobolevo.
