Emergency was Declared in the Amur River Region because of Mass Cow Infection
200 Beasts were contaminated by disease that dangerous to a human
BLAGOVESCHENSK. February 25. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Emergency was declared in Bureisk situated in the Amur River Region. It was connected with mass infection of cattle by brucellosis in farming cooperative of Atashikha village. 166 caws and 44 calves were infected.
Regional office of public prosecutor initiated the investigation regarding the matter. The preliminary reason of the disease is considered to be the natural abortion of caws. The beasts were taken tests for serological examination in a laboratory environment.
The examination showed that not all provided measures were accomplished in full. Thus the infected beasts were not slaughtered. The factory workers were not equipped with special clothing and items of personal hygiene. The cleaning of the premises was not accomplished properly. Not whole cattle stock was examined for incidence of the disease.
Brucellosis is a fell infectious disease. The disease may be caught by people from infected beasts. It can affect badly organs and body systems of a person. The disease is contaminated through digestive track of a person. The other way of contamination is through the milk of ill beasts.
