Mother Foundation Celebrates its 5th Anniversary

VLADIVOSTOK. February 25. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Today, charitable foundation Mother is celebrating its 5th Anniversary.

In the last five years the charity fund has made a great number of noble deeds, the importance of which is difficult to overestimate. The Mother set up 7 childrens play grounds, contributed 500,000 rubles for the construction of the sports center in Semeiniy Ochag children’s village, sent 50 tons of relief goods for low-income families residing Primorsky Krai. The foundation has also sent 15 tons of relief supplies and 1,000 books to Ossetia, a spokesman for Mother Foundation told Vostok-Media.

Each year the charity fund holds a number of forums for mothers, the primary purpose of which is to unite and enhance the efforts of NGOs, political parties and the Government in addressing the problems of families, mothers and children.

The events held by the Mother include, among other things, charity marathon in support of orphaned children, concerts, various competitions and campaigns.

The fund’s objectives include the creation of data bank of NGOs dealing with the problems of orphaned children, raising awareness of the problems of orphanage, uniting efforts of the public, businesses and authorities in rendering assistance to orphaned children.

Natalya Izotova, the President of Mother Foundation, and Dzhambulat Tekiev, Chairman of Mother Foundation Guardianship Board congratulate residents of Vladivostok on the occasion of the 5th Anniversary of Mother Foundation and express their gratitude for the support of the foundation’s initiatives and participation in charity events.
