RF Navy Pacific Fleet Detachment Sets Off to Gulf of Aden

VLADIVOSTOK. March 25. VOSTOK-MEDIA – One more detachment of RF Navl Pacific Fleet headed by frigate ‘Admiral Panteleev’ is supposed to depart port of Vladivostok and to maintain the safety of maritime traffic in the Gulf of Aden.
We remind that a group of security supply vessels comprising of the tanker ‘Pecheneg’ and rescue tug ‘Foty Krilov’ returned to the main base last week.
‘Admiral Panteleev’ sets off to fight against piracy near the coasts of Somalia. The vessel will protect maritime traffic in the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea.
The capabilities of the vessel are as good as its two predecessors and it is by no means unimportant at the region full of pirates.
