Nakhodka Sailors to Take Part in Pacific Rim Challenge 2008

The sailors will stand for the honor of Russia at the competition.
NAKHODKA. April 25. VOSTOK MEDIA – Nakhodka sailors will represent Russia at the international sailing regatta Pacific Rim Challenge 2008 that will be held between April 29 – May 6 in Tateyama City, Japan. A delegation of 20 sportsmen from Nakhodka will go to the competition.
The crew’s captain Leonid Borisov said the regatta is held on the yachts of the receiving side. Holders of the event will provide sailors with Yamaha 30-feet boats. To balance the participants’ chances for a win, in every of six planned racings the crews shall change their yachts with contesters.
