The drills will be held near Primorye border.
VLADIVOSTOK. May 25. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The USA and South Korea are planning to hold a major anti-submarine maneuver, Reuters quoted a Pentagon spokesman as saying.
The decision to conduct the drills came as a response from the U.S. to the sinking of a South Korean warship allegedly by a North Korean torpedo. The underwater explosion killed 46 sailors then.
Earlier today, Canada announced imposition of new economic sanctions on North Korea.
