Ecological Workshop Session Takes Place in Primorsky Krai
The seminar to be held in the framework of the 3rd International Ecological Forum ‘Nature without borders’
VLADIVOSTOK. June 25. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Participants of the regional interdepartmental workshop session will discuss satellite-based methods for solving economic tasks and application of these methods in development of Primorsky Krai. All residents of Primorsky Krai are invited at the workshop session scheduled for June 25-26.
Primorsky Krai Administration, Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (FEB RAS), ScanEx R&D Center (Moscow), the Institute of Automation and Control Processes of FEB RAS are organizers of the workshop.
As is reported by the Krai Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the seminar takes place in the framework of the 3rd International Ecological Forum ‘Nature without borders’.
The application of satellite imagery and data obtained upon in solving economic tasks and developing Primorsky Krai is the topical issue of the workshop.
The data on current state of satellite monitoring of the Earth and potential of operational employment of space measurements in solving economic issues, designing and construction, implementation of environment-geared projects, decreasing of disaster damages, maritime traffic, spotting major water areas pollution and in other spheres will be presented during the seminar.
Free five-day courses for specialists on processing of satellite images are planned within the framework of the workshop sessions.
The workshop to be held at Presidium of the Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (Vladivostok, Svetlanskaya str., 50) on June 25-26.
