Chinese Delegation in the Vladivostok Administration

VLADIVOSTOK. 25 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Head of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev welcomed Governor of Yanbyan-Korean Autonomous region of China Mr. Li Lunsi. They discussed perspectives of economic cooperation between two regions.
Yanbyan was founded in 1952. It is the largest region of Korean communities and the single national one in North-East China. Administratively, prefecture has 6 cities. On the East prefecture borders with Primorskiy Krai.
Prefecture and Primorskiy Krai have long relationship. Delegation from Yanbyan came to the Krai centre many times including celebrating day of Krai’s 145th anniversary.
At the top of agenda was economic cooperation. Particularly, Chinese delegation was interested in constructing sphere and market of construction materials, trade, investments and tourist exchange.
Igor Pushkarev said that in the framework of preparation for APEC 2012 there will be a lot of spheres for cooperation. If Chinese colleagues want to develop tourist business we will support their initiative. Also we can cooperate in purchasing of Chinese equipment for constructing operations of Summit objects”.
In their turn, Chinese representatives suggested to exchange of work force. Furthermore, they proposed to hold an exhibition of tourism and trade of Vladivostok in Yanbyan-Korean region.
