Rarities From Private Collections Exhibition Opens in Khabarovsk

KHABAROVSK. December 25. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Rarities from Private Collections exhibition opens in the Far Eastern Art Museum in Khabarovsk. The exhibit is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Khabarovsk City Collectors’ Society, which unites hundreds of stamp-collectors, numismatists, militaria collectors, deltiologists and other collectors of rare items.

According to the organizers, the exhibition offers visitors a rare opportunity to have a look at collections of rare and precious budges, coins, bonds, post cards, documents, maps as well as rare photographic cameras, chinaware and other items.

Having amalgamated several separate collections of different origin into one collection, organizers wanted to attract both experts and enthusiasts to the project.

The exhibition opens in the Far Eastern Art Museum (7, Shevchenko Street) on Dec. 26 at 5 pm and runs until Jan. 31, 2010.
