A Crime Wave may Engulf Vladivostok by the End of Summer

VLADIVOSTOK. February 27. VOSTOK-MEDIA – One of the features of the crisis is a rise in crime.
According to Alexander Borovikov, head of the regional police department the crisis is fertile ground not only for committing crimes, but also for its rise. “We predict that a crime wave may engulf Vladivostok by the end of summer. By this time savings of many people will run low, it would be very difficult to find a job, a number of citizens will found themselves to be on the streets. Thus there will be many people who will lapse into crime to meet the ends. And the police should prepare for such negative developments.”
In connection with anticipated fast growth of crimes in Vladivostok police officers strengthen their units.
“At present time the alterations were made in the scheme of dislocation of police units, a time and a place of committing crimes are analyzed thoroughly.”- clarified Borovikov.
