Vehicles for Construction of Summit Objects will be Produced in Primorskiy Krai

VLADIVOSTOK. March 27. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The decision to build car assemble plant in Primorskiy Krai was made. The first stage of the project will be implemented in IV quarter of 2009. This was said by Igor Shuvalov, the vice chairman of the Russian Government during his business trip in Primorskiy Krai.
The state officials of Primorskiy Krai and ‘Solers’ company concluded an agreement concerning building of a plant, producing trucks, buses and minibuses.
Andrey Dement’ev, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy stated that the agreement is the most effective strategy of expansion of Russian automobile industry in the region.
The production of domestic motor transport will allow meet the demands on vehicles, connected with preparation for APEC-summit and implement projects in O&G sphere. Besides, the issue regarding the organization of passenger traffic in Siberian and Far Eastern cities.
The construction of the car assemble plant in Primorskiy Krai will allow to give a boost to home demand, to create jobs and it will facilitate the development of small businesses through activation of concurrent production and services.
The first car labeled ‘made in Primorye’ will roll off the production line in IV quarter of 2009.
