Emergency workers and police handed out free gauze masks to local residents for respiratory protection.This morning, as a result of the surge at Shiveluch volcano Kluchi village was covered with millimeter layer of ash. Also there was ash falling in the village of Lazo. According to the MOE, there is a possibility of contact with the ash in villages of Ust-Kamchatsky and Milkovskiy areas.
