China to Construct Shelter in Bucharest

Niro Group, Romania and Beijing Urban Construction Group Co. Ltd, China signed an agreement about joint construction of several projects in Bucharest and other big cities of the country, Xinhuanet reports.
In September 2007 the companies started construction of a block of flats and a hotel at the Free Press Square in Bucharest. The construction area accounts for 3350 square meters.
The partners also began construction of a Chinese block on the northeast of Bucharest. The block will include a 16-storey business-center with a conference hall and 100 000 square meters of exhibition space inside. The biggest Chinese community in Eastern Europe will be accommodated in 12 houses with 600 apartments.
